1) What accommodation is available in Rosepark Dublin?
There are eight unfurnished en-suite studio apartments in the main house and four bungalows to the rear. The bungalows comprise a sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.
2 How many staff is employed ?
A House Manager is on duty during the day for 3 hours and a Housekeeper on call from 8pm to 8 am in case of emergency during the night.
3 Who comes to live in Rosepark ?
Men and women from the age of 55 upwards.
4 How fit must residents be ?
Residents must be able to cater for themselves independently. That is groom and feed themselves and keep their quarters tidy.

5 What are the entry requirements?
Rosepark is a non-denominational organisation and entry is gained through the completion of a simple application form followed by a meeting with designated committee members.
6 Who furnishes the rooms?
Residents create their home within Rosepark by bringing their own furniture and effects. Carpets and curtains/blinds are supplied.
7 Are pets allowed in the Home or could I bring my pet?
In the main house cats and goldfish are allowed to reside in the basement accommodation only. In the remainder of the house only goldfish are allowed. In the bungalows cats and small house dogs are allowed.
Independence
8 Do I have to clean my own accommodation?
Yes, residents have to keep their own room tidy and clean in accordance with Rosepark and Health and Safety regulations. Rosepark provides a cleaning service every fortnight which is covered under the rental agreement. Some residents employ domestic help at their own cost, while others get subvention from the local authority.
9 Are Laundry facilities available ?
Laundry facilities are available in the Utility room and used on a daily basis by our residents
10 Are there any leisure activities?
Rosepark House has an extensive garden area to the rear of the house and residents are encouraged to take up gardening. We also run weekly exercise, painting and computer classes. In the winter film nights have proved very popular with the residents.

11 What is the arrangement for meals?
Each unit, both in the studio apartments and bungalows have a kitchenette where residents prepare their own tea and breakfast. A three course lunch, produced with fresh produce is served seven days a week in the dining room
12 Will you need to know my financial circumstances?
All the House Committee requires is a letter from your bank indicating that you are in a position to pay the monthly rent.
13 Can I come and go as I please?
Rosepark House is based on the principle of home from home. Residents can come and go as they please. All that is requested is that each resident marks themselves in and out on the attendance board located in the hall
14 Is smoking allowed ?
Smoking is allowed in the residents’ rooms or bungalows but not in the common areas of the main house.
15 What about a telephone and television?
Cable television is available in each room, bungalow and the main dining/sitting room as part of the rental package. Residents are encouraged to have their own landline or mobile.
